This community project was based on the life and work of Ana Mendieta within the framework of “Behind the Wall”, an artistic project conceived by Juan Delgado Calzadilla during the Twelfth Biennial held in Havana in 2015. The participants work with earth, fire, water and their own bodies, producing their own work and establishing a dialogue with the notions of identity and environment.
